What is the purpose of these entirely handmade, hand-painted plates featuring little mushrooms, small acorns, and the scent of the forest?
The small saucer can be used to hold your tea bag or filter. You can place a teaspoon on it after stirring your coffee or use it with the cup itself. Or maybe put olive pits in it, or a dipping sauce at the table. If none of these ideas appeal to you, you can use it as a jewelry holder.
The medium-sized plate is perfect for any social occasion: whether you need a small gift or are hosting friends for afternoon tea, it's ready to be of service. The acorns, leaves, mushrooms, and twigs scattered across the plate resemble the small treasures you might find on a walk through the wood. Medium in size but exceptional in every other way. It’s perfect for holding cookies, small appetizers before meals, or, if you don’t want to use it in the kitchen, it can become a pocket emptier or a trinket dish. You can even hang it on the wall!

Porcelain is more durable than ceramic because its clay mixture contains kaolin and quartz, making it particularly long-lasting. Think of almost all tableware, even mass-produced items: the highest-quality pieces are made of porcelain, and you’ll find them in restaurants and establishments that use them intensively on a daily basis.
Yes! All pieces without lustre can be safely placed in the dishwasher or microwave. Pieces with a golden or other type of lustre should be washed by hand, because the dishwasher’s spray jets could scratch or fade the overglaze over time.
You are purchasing a one-of-a-kind piece, made entirely by hand. Each item you see is the result of research, experimentation, and testing. Creating it takes a lot of time, as well as a great deal of patience and imagination. You’re buying something special, that only you will own and that will keep you company for a long time, with joy.
Each piece is unique: even if I tried to make two identical objects, they would never be exactly the same once they came out of the kiln. Porcelain tends to warp during firing, which makes each piece even more special. The decorations may differ slightly from what you see on the screen, especially the colors. But these very small details are a sign of uniqueness and should not be considered flaws!
You can fill the item with water and bleach (for example, three or four tablespoons of bleach for a cup, one or two for a saucer) and leave it be for a few hours or overnight. Then empty it and wash it thoroughly with dish soap and hot water. You can repeat the process if necessary.
Saucers are useful for many things: to hold a tea bag, to rest a ladle or cutlery on. They can also be used to serve cookies or other foods at the table, as a place to empty your pockets, or to safely store earrings, rings, and other small jewelry overnight. You can even hang them on the wall!
